The term «Glicée print» (pronounced «yiclé») comes from the French word «gicler», which means to spray. Therefore, this type of inkjet printing consists of depositing the pigment through small droplets, that “pulverize” the support. The image printing achieves a spectacular degree of detail in the shapes, while also reproducing the weaves, patterns, and continuous tones. The outcome is a high-quality digitized piece, that looks like a manual reproduction, with its streaks and brushstrokes.  This is also known as Fine Art.
